The end of the year is approaching and to end on a high note there are several new TV series and seasons coming your way. Here are six eagerly awaited shows with: friendships, action, deaths, love and fantasy.

Firefly Lane, season 2
Firefly Lane, season 2

Firefly Lane fans have an appointment on December 2nd for the second and last season of the show. Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke will be back as Kate and Tully with brand new emotional storylines. We will get to see how Kate deals with the consequences of Johnny’s trip to Iraq, while Tully is getting sued after leaving her talk-show and has to start all over again. This will bring her to ask herself who she really is but also seek her roots and try to find her biological father, against her mother’s will. And, finally: why did Kate and Tully fight at the end of the first season? Everything will be revealed.

His Dark Materials, season 3
His Dark Materials, season 3

The end of His Dark Materials is approaching with its third and final season coming on December 5th with its first episode. Lyra’s journey is far from over and new worlds await, while angels will finally make their apparitions. We will also make the acquaintance of Balthamos and Baruch, while these final episodes will give prominence to Asriel (James McAvoy) who is back to fight against The Authority. In France, the show is broadcasted on OCS.

Emily in Paris, season 3
Emily in Paris, season 3

Nice gift from Netflix for the end of this year: season 3 of Emily in Paris. The episodes will be available on December 21st and we will find Emily having to deal with Camille and Gabriel’s engagement, which happened in the final episode of season 2. But the young woman is going to keep her chin up this season with a new flirt with Alfie coming up…

Jack Ryan, season 3
Jack Ryan, season 3

Three years after season 2, Jack Ryan is back on Amazon Prime Video for its third season, with 8 episodes. The official logline reads : “Jack Ryan is on the run and in a race against time. Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and suddenly finds himself a fugitive out in the cold. Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, trying to stay alive and prevent a massive global conflict”. Available on December 21st.

Alice in Borderland, season 2
Alice in Borderland, season 2

Fans have been waiting impatiently for it, and it’s finally coming! Season 2 of Alice in Borderland will be available on Netflix on December 22nd, two years after the first one, and will show Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) solving mysteries in Borderland in order to get back to their own world. In these new episodes, their surroundings have changed and after the deserted Shibuya in the first season, the story will take place in a Shibuya invaded by plants. Danger is still hiding everywhere and death will be waiting at every corner.

The Witcher : Blood Origin
The Witcher : Blood Origin

This Christmas, Netflix is giving a brand news show to fans of The Witcher. If they're eagerly waiting for season 3, it is a prequel coming under the Christmas tree on December 25th. The official logline reads : “Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin tells a story lost to time - one of seven outcasts who unite against an unstoppable power that took everything from them. Their blood quest giving rise to a prototype Witcher in a conflict that brings about the “conjunction of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one”. Michelle Yeoh is starring.
