Read moreThe end of the year is coming, and there is still a bunch of TV shows to land on our screens. Here are the ones that will mark the last days of 2021.
The heist is coming to an end. The robbers of Money Heist have five episodes to try to get out of the bank alive with their loot. The events of the first part of season 5 leave them with their backs to the wall and they must do their best to carry on following the Professor's plan, which is crumbling by the minute. Fans can find the new episodes on December 3 on Netflix.
The sequel to Sex and the City will be released in December 2021, but the gang of heroines will be without Samantha this time. Kim Cattrall will not reprise her role for the revival named "And just like that...”. Fans will be able to console themselves by finding Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda, as well as many other characters from the original series. The broadcast begins on December 9, on HBO Max.
Fans of The Expanse will have to say goodbye to the sci-fi series. The sixth and final season arrives on December 10 on Prime Video. While this final chapter is composed of only six episodes, it is set to be intense as the war looks more explosive than ever between the different sides.
Geralt of Rivia is back in season 2 of The Witcher and Henry Cavill is back in his Witcher costume. The official synopsis says: "Convinced that Yennefer did not survive the Battle of Sodden Hilll, Geralt of Rivia takes Princess Ciri to the safest place he knows, the home of his childhood, Kaer Morhen. As the kings, elves, humans, and demons of the Continent fight for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from greater danger: the mysterious power she possesses within.” To be released on December 17 on Netflix.
Emily returns to Paris for a second season at the end of 2021, but first there’s a little detour to Ibiza. The Netflix series was a great success for its first chapter and its freshness should delight fans once again for the holiday season. Is there still as many clichés about Paris and its inhabitants? The answer on December 22.
The Star Wars universe continues to expand with a new series. Boba Fett, cult character of Star Wars, has returned in the second season of The Mandalorian and will be the protagonist of his own adventure. Fans will have to wait until the last moments of the year to discover the series, the appointment is given on December 29 on Disney+.
