Read moreThird day of this 60th Monte-Carlo Television Festival and the excitement is still at the top at the Grimaldi Forum. While the weather outside is quite cloudy, fans are getting settled in the conference rooms to meet their favorites stars. On today's agenda: Spiral, Ici tout commence, Tomorrow is Ours and La Casa de Papel with Darko Peric.
This third day was also the chance to see news shows that were presented during the screenings of the nominated shows in competition.
This Sunday 20th morning at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival was marked by an exceptional signing session from the cast of Demain nous appartient and Ici tout commence. Fans could get autographs - and pictures! - with Alexandre Brasseur, Ingrid Chauvin, Camille Genau, Samy Gharbi, Hector Langevin, Catherine Marchal, Aurelie Pons, Clément Remiens, Julie Sassoust and Terence Telle.
While the stars were in signing session, time just stopped for a second when Francis Huster came and gave us a triumphal entrance, cheered and applauded by the actors, actresses and fans.
Of course, the event was quickly full, and good vibes were flowing in the Grimaldi Forum as everybody, even the kids, could take photos with the actors they love.
After the signing sessions, some fans gathered in a smaller setting for one of a kind meetings. Late morning, Spiral was in the spotlight, with Audrey Fleurot, Thierry Godard and Caroline Proust, who exchanged with fans who had the chance to be selected by draw with the #OMG card. Also, lovers of Demain nous appartient could discuss and meet Alexandre Brasseur and Ingrid Chauvin.
It's late in the afternoon that Darko Peric came to the Grimaldi Forum to talk with the lucky #OMG fans. A warming moment filled with laughter and happiness which is totally how to describe the Serbian actor who plays Helsinki in La Casa de Papel.
Three screenings of nominated shows in the Golden Nymph competition punctuated the third day of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, with Made for Love, The Unbearable Lightness of the Revolution and Line in the Sand. The first one is a comedy-drama starring Cristin Milioti and Billy Magnussen where we see the actress in the role of Hazel Green, a young woman leaving her chaotic marriage who learns that her husband (Magnussen) planted a chip in her brain to track her.
Fans could also attend the screening of The Unbearable Lightness of the Revolution, and get the chance to exchange with the cast that was present in the theater after the episode was aired. The story takes place in East Germany in 1988 and follows Franka, a young woman who enjoys partying more than politics, whose world will completely change after meeting a revolutionary.
Finally, this Sunday 20th ended with Line in the Sand, a criminal Israeli drama based on a real story, and focused on Alon, a policeman who goes back to his hometown to discover the people there under the influence of a dangerous gang. Again, festival-goers had the opportunity to meet and talk with the cast after the screening.
