The second season of one of the biggest successes on French TV these last few years starts on January 4th. The show’s news episodes will follow the consequences of the terrible revelation : everybody knows about Idriss Toma’s secret and his poor state of health. He only has a few months left to live and his partners have to deal with this news in their own way. Yet, they will continue to defend their clients at all costs. The show will be broadcasted on France 2.
A little less than two years after the release of the first season on Netflix, Ginny and Georgia is back with a second one on the streaming platform. The official logline reads : “How do you live with the knowledge that your mother is a murderer? That's what Ginny is going to have to figure out. Burdened with the new understanding that Kenny - her step-dad - didn't die of natural causes, now Ginny must deal with the fact that Georgia not only killed, she killed to protect Ginny. Georgia on the other hand would much prefer that the past be left in the past, after all, she's got a wedding to plan! But the funny thing about Georgia's past is that it never stays buried for long…”. Ginny and Georgia are coming to you on January 5th.
This thriller led by Hélène de Fougerolles, Grégory Fitoussi et Tchéky Karyo will start on January 5th, on TF1, with its first two episodes. One year after a terrible car accident that cost Camille Hartmann’s memory, a judge, twelve corpses are found in the Forêt-Noire, near a military camp Franco-German. Convinced that both cases are linked, Camille wants in on the investigation, led by Eric Maes and Franz Agerland, from the Karlsruhe criminal section. Many dark memories and secrets will be revealed…
The dreadful and brave warriors of Vikings: Valhalla are coming back for a second season on Netflix, starting from January 12th. This news installment is following the consequences of the first season’s events. The battle for Kattegat is far from over and multiple fights are to be expected… Jeb Stuart, the showrunner, reveals : “While the storylines for Leif, Freydís, Harald, Olaf, Canute and the rest of our amazing cast are secret, I can say without hesitation that their journeys will be even more epic than what you’ve seen so far.”
Three years after the release of the first season, new episodes of Hunters are finally coming to Amazon Prime Video. This second season will show Jonah, Millie, Lonny and others continue their vengeance against Nazis, whilst we learn at the end of the first season that Adolf Hitler was still alive and exiled in Argentina. The storyline will be split up between two timelines, a way to have Al Pacino back in the role of Meyer despite his death in season 1. Season 2 of Hunters will start on January 13th on Amazon Prime Video.
Based on the popular video game, The Last of Us is one of the awaited shows of 2023. This production signed by HBO will follow Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) while they try to navigate a world plagued by a virus that changed people into zombies. They will eventually meet Tess (Anna Torv) and will have to face harsh and violent ordeals throughout their journey. The first episode will be available on January 15th.
