It's in 2005 that the audience met Audrey Fleurot under the features of The Lady of the Lake in Alexandre Astier comedy show, Kaamelott. Her character is colorful with a lot of humor, just like the show itself. She's sort of a divine incarnation that must guide Arthur through his quest for the Graal, but her help is not always that helpful... A role with a lot of irony that put Audrey Fleurot in the spotlight.
With 8 seasons, Spiral imposed itself as a true reference in terms of cop shows in the French television landscape. Better yet, this CANAL+ show is one of the first to export itself abroad. Audrey Fleurot plays Joséphine Karlsson, a ruthless lawyer. The actress revealed to a belgian media that she loved that role because she was "an amoral character without friends, boyfriends or cats and that she loved money and success". There, she saw an opportunity she couldn't refuse : "It's so rare on French TV. Most of all when it's a woman. She lives outside the norms, she hits the road".
Total change of tone for Audrey Fleurot in Un village français where the actress plays Hortense Larcher, the mayor's wife. The show depicts a difficult time in French History, when the country was under German occupation in the 40s. Audrey Fleurot's character is even shaved before going quite mad. The actress said to the French media Télé 7 jours that it was "an ambitious and uncommon project".
Based on true events, The Bonfire of Destiny gives Audrey Fleurot the role of Adrienne de Lenverpré, a middle-class woman married to a senator-to-be, and desperate to emancipate herself from her husband's control. The show takes place just before the year 1900, when women were most of the time defined by their husbands. In this historical fresca, Audrey Fleurot distinguishes herself playing Adrienne de Lenverpré, who uses the fire to fake her death and escape from her husband.
True chameleon Audrey Fleurot recently found herself playing Morgane Alvaro, a young gifted woman. The show revolves around this particularly brilliant cleaner's adventures who found herself becoming an advisor for the criminal police of Lille. Morgane is a character who doesn't lack spirit and with a small disregard for authority. The show is broadcasted on TF1 and is a big hit in terms of audience. A second season is already in the works.
