These animated shows that you don't want to miss
There is more to the animated world than the Simpsons or Family Guy, so we've selected 6 for you to watch! Final Space Meet Gary, prisoner on a space…
Read moreThe most controversial endings are often the ones that are most discussed by fans, they divide and feed the debate. Here are 6 of them.
Some fans love the ending, and others hate it. For Lost, there's no middle ground. While many answers to the biggest mysteries of the show were expected in the ending, it's mostly on the characters that the showrunner decided to focus on in the last season and its finale. Letting lots of fans in uncertainty. What is the island? Why are they there? What's that church about? Many questions are still pending answers. But for others, the emotion that came out of the unforgettable journey was enough to be happy with.
It's the most recent series of this selection and it still hurts. The epic show ended with an 8th season that fans really didn't enjoy, especially with a much precipitated and superficial ending. Six episodes to conclude such a rich story wasn't enough, and fans are still angry about it.
In a very different genre, the end of the sitcom and the promise of the revelation of the infamous mother was highly criticized. 9 seasons for Ted to explain to his two kids all the details that lead to how he met their mother... All for just a quick, out of nowhere revelation in the finale. What was the worst for the fans ? End it on the Ted/Robin relationship that had already been talked about in 208 episodes.
This one, everybody agrees on. While the show lead by Michael C Hall offered amazing 4 seasons to fans, the story took a turn afterwards and was very much disliked up until the season finale where nothing made sense anymore. One of the most iconic shows of the years 2000 has seen its character go in a downward spiral and fans still laugh about the ridiculous ending. An ending that is often quoted when fans talk about the worst endings ever.
Genius for most, a botched ending for others: the conclusion of the Sopranos is still in people's minds 13 years after its broadcast. A scene in a diner, the Journey song Don't Stop Believin' to go with the last moments of the characters, an open door and: black screen. A completely suspenseful ending that let the fans imagine what they want.
If Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended on a win for the hero, it was quite different for its spin-off Angel. There also was an epic fight but the ending was "meh". While the American broadcaster had announced the cancellation of the show at the last minute, the showrunner Joss Whedon had to find a way to end his series, and went with an open ending. Which fans still talk about up to this day.
