Willie Garson was a well-known actor to fans. While his most popular role remains that of Stanford in Sex and the City, he has also appeared in White Collar, Stargate SG-1, NYPD Blue, or Hawaii 5-0. He passed away on September 21, 2021, from pancreatic cancer. However, he was able to play one last time his character of Stanford for And just like that..., the sequel to Sex and the City, released in early December on HBO Max.
The passing of Michael K. Williams was a real shock for the fans. The actor, who rose to fame for his role as Omar Little in the series The Wire in the early 2000s, was found dead in his apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at the age of 54, on September 6, 2021. He reportedly died of an overdose. Recently, he has been seen in the series The Night Of and Lovecraft Country.
The Star of Saved by the Bell did not have an easy life after the series ended in 1993, although he reprised his role as Screech in the sequels Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class until 2000. In January 2021, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and then died on February 1 from the disease at the age of 44.
The matriarch of the Bluth family in Arrested Development also passed away in 2021, after a heart attack in March. The actress, who was 80 years old at the time of her death, had a very long career in television with roles in very popular series such as Murder She Wrote, The Love Boat, Law & Order, 90210 or more recently Archer, in which she lent her voice to Malory Archer, one of the main characters.
The actress, born in Croatia in 1955, was best known to fans of Lost and Babylon 5. In the former, she played the role of Rousseau, a French woman stranded on the island with the other missing people, and in the latter, she played Delenn, a character present in no less than 111 episodes. She died on January 20, 2021, at the age of 65, after contracting West Nile virus.
He was a particularly famous face in the world of TV series. He transformed his children in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show at the very end of the 90s, but he also appeared in popular shows like Girls, Gotham, The Love Boat or more recently Evil. He died of leukemia on October 22, at the age of 66.
